They are only original once! This is an amazing time capsule - original engine/trans, interior, wheels, etc. It has traveled only 42,814 miles & is in fabulous condition. The 3709th Shelby built, it was originally delivered to Metke Ford in Bellevue, Washington on July 13th, 1968. It was optioned with the mighty 428 cubic inch Cobra Jet engine, C-6 Automatic transmission, Wimbledon White Paint, Black Knitted Decor bucket seats, tilt steering wheel, front disc brakes, shoulder harnesses, fold down rear seat, AM push button radio, & a 3.50/1 Traction-Lok axle. The MSRP was $5081.86 (including $1.80 worth of gasoline!). Hal Hjeite, of nearby Redmond, took delivery on August 14th, 1968. He owned it until May of 1986, when it was purchased  by J. W. Tagg, of Belleview, Washington. On January 20th, 1990, Mr. Tagg sold it to Carl de Bois in Snohomish. Mr. de Bois subsequently sold the car in February of 2006 to M. Scott Riley, again of Bellevue, who sold it in January, 2008 to the most recent owner, Len Goebel, in Durango, Colorado. The car has suffered no accidents, and shows no evidence of rust repair. At some time in the past, parts of the car were repainted sympathetically. The paint shows well, with a good color match & few imperfections. The interior is all original & has held up quite well, with no apparent flaws.  The engine compartment is nicely detailed, & there are receipts for an engine rebuild in 2006 commissioned by Mr. Riley. The original wheels show well, & are fitted with original type Firestone Sports Car 200 bias ply tires. A Deluxe Marti report, build sheet, original window sticker, owner's manual, parts catalog, owner ID card, copies of previous registrations, & a 1/18 scale model of this car are included. It looks & drives spectacularly & has been cared for as the special jewel it is. Don't miss this one!
